I chased Jannik for half a block in silver platform dancing shoes (it was the morning after I had crashed at M's place after T's wedding) after M spotted him on our way to brunch.  I had just missed my opportunity to approach a very frat-ish "Marina" guy with a standard messenger bag, so I was not about to let this one go.  He was very pleasant, though he seemed a bit confused (though not alarmed) when I introduced myself.  It could just be because I was so nervous to approach my first interviewee, or maybe it was just because he's from Denmark.  Either way, he agreed to let me take his photo and interview him.

Ready to find out what he's got in his "shoulder bag"?  Me too--I pretty much forgot most of the questions I had planned, but it seems that Jannik is a very bookish sort of guy, as he told me he mostly carried books by Cormac McCarthy, Bukowski, and Kerouac in his shoulder bag.

When I asked young Jannik if he had anything to say to the readers of WhatsInYourManPurse.com, he humored me with the statement--"Listen to sixties music!"  Considering we were standing on Haight Street in San Francisco, it seemed an appropriate enough thing to say.
